The singer’s longtime home is one of the city’s most impressive trophy estates, and it’s once again up for grabs — this time, with an even bolder asking price.

The 3-acre property first hit the market back in June, when the Maggie May singer listed it for a whopping $70 million. With no takers, the estate was taken off the market in November, only to resurface one month later with an even more ambitious asking price of $80 million.

And the rocker’s over-the-top mansion has plenty of attributes to justify the sky-high asking price, with location standing at the heart of it.

Rod Stewart’s house is in the prestigious North Beverly Park enclave, the ritziest, most expensive residential community in all of Los Angeles.

While it does have the coveted 90210 Beverly Hills zip code, North Beverly Park is actually Beverly Hills on steroids. Being famous won’t cut it; you’d need to have a bank account that’s a few thousand times over your number of Instagram followers to afford to buy here.

Adele’s house (bought from action star Sylvester Stallone for $55 million) is just a stone’s throw from Rod Stewart’s house, as is Denzel Washington’s — both located less than a mile away. Another neighboring house — the ultra-luxurious Villa Firenze mansion — once held the title of most expensive home in the U.S., listing for $165 million before selling at an auction for only a fraction of the price, $51 million.

More recently, actor Mark Wahlberg sold his Beverly Park mansion for $55 million, after it was first listed for $87.5 million. So Stewart’s $80 million listing fits right in with the crowd that shops around in the ultra-exclusive enclave.
